Behr Concrete Floor Paint
How long does a painted concrete floor last?
I just recently primed, bonded, sealed, and painted using Behr concrete floor products, and now I am wondering how long it is going to be until it may need to be done again.
It is a dark color (Tar Black) but it is not in a high traffic area. It is in my basement, so no car tires.
Also, is there any special precautions I may need to take, because it is painted, once I decide to put a laminate or hardwood floor down there?

the paint will wear off over time, but the concrete will be undamaged, you may in the future if you decide to go with a differenttype of flooring have to strip off some of the paint to allow glue to stick properly for some kinds of flooring but otherwise you should have no problems, but don’t cheap out get the proper paint
